6 Ways To Make A Difference for National Make A Difference Day

This Saturday is National Make A Difference Day! So, here are a few ways to celebrate the holiday, and keep the giving going all week long!

Adopt A Kitten

Come celebrate with us at our Kitten Shower with FOWA Rescue on Sunday 11am-3pm at Mike’s Feed Farm. When you adopt a kitten, take home your choice of a soft-sided carrier, cat bed or deluxe starter kit.

“Pupperween” Fundraiser for NY Second Chance Rescue

If you’re looking to adopt a pup, join PRIME Real Estate Group and New York Second Chance for their dog adoption event on Sunday 11am-3pm at PRIME.

Host Your Own Fundraiser

There are so many ways to raise your own money for rescue centers. Whether you collaborate with a local business to donate a portion of their proceeds or start your own crowdfunding page, even the smallest contribution can make a difference.

4th Annual Raise the Woof!

Join Animal Aid USA/M.O.M.S Rescue for a night of dinner, drinks and dancing on Nov. 2 at 7-11pm. All proceeds go toward the vetting of homeless animals in rural Georgia high kill shelters, and the transportation of them north to receiving rescues. Tickets are $44 per person.

Pitties and Pals Howl-A-Ween Party

Dress up in your best Halloween costume and celebrate with Pitties and Pals Rescue on Nov. 2 at 4-8pm. Pitties and Pals Rescue is dedicated to rescuing bully breed dogs from NJ shelters by placing them in foster care or boarding until an adoptive family is found. Tickets are $40 per person.

Just Donate

Whether it’s your time, money or supplies, every animal rescue could use your help. Especially as the colder months are approaching, towels, blankets and food is much needed.
